Compacting Grouting

Compaction Grouting is a process of using a low mobility concrete to densify loose granular soils on projects where vibrations are unacceptable.  It can also be used to fill voids or sinkholes.  A small diameter casing is installed to design depth and a low mobility concrete is pumped under high pressure in short vertical stages.  The low mobility concrete forms a bulb and forces the surrounding soils to compact and densify.
