Jet Grouting

Jet Grouting is a ground improvement technique that utilizes high pressure grout and air to mix columns of soil.  A small diameter drill bit is advanced to the design depth where it is rotated as high-pressure air and grout liquify the soil as the drill bit is retracted.  Depending on the soil conditions, pressure, rotation rate and withdraw rate the diameter of the grout columns can range from a few ft to more than 6-ft.
